1. What the platform does

AfriOff connects businesses and customers around discounted offers. The platform is neither the seller nor the provider of the services offered.

The sale or service contract is formed directly between you and the business, when you present your coupon in store.

2. User account

An account is required to claim a coupon. You agree to provide a valid e-mail address and not to create multiple accounts to bypass an offer's limits.

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
• An account is personal and cannot be transferred.
• We may suspend an account for abuse, including multiple accounts or coupon resale.

3. Coupons

A claimed coupon reserves a discount with the business. It carries a unique code and a signed visual code, shown in store.

• Coupons are free: no payment is made on AfriOff.
• Each coupon has an expiry date, shown in "My deals".
• An expired or already-used coupon cannot be presented.
• The number of coupons per person is limited and stated on each offer.
• A coupon cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.

4. AfriOff's role and liability

AfriOff verifies business registrations but does not control product quality or in-store compliance with the offer.

If a valid coupon is refused, report it: the business may be suspended from the platform. AfriOff cannot however be held liable for the performance of the service itself.

5. Customer reviews

Only people who actually used a coupon at a business may review it, within sixty days of the visit.

• One review per used coupon.
• Abusive, defamatory or off-topic reviews are removed.
• A business can neither buy nor have an unfavourable review deleted.

6. Business obligations

• Honour any valid coupon presented under the stated conditions.
• Publish accurate offers: real price before discount, contents, number of people covered.
• Hold the authorisations required for their activity.
• Not require any additional purchase not stated in the offer.

7. Intellectual property

The AfriOff brand, the site and its structure are protected. Photographs and descriptions published by a business remain its property; it grants AfriOff the right to display them on the platform.

8. Changes and termination

These terms may change. The last update date appears at the top of the page. You can close your account at any time by writing to contact@afrioff.com.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Beninese law. Failing amicable settlement, the competent courts are those of Cotonou.
